My experience is in writing and in photography.

I was a newspaper reporter and photographer previously for the Lakeside Review in Davis Country Utah. I was the South County Bureau Chief.

I also worked for the Richfield Reaper in Richfield, Utah and for the Salina Sun in Salina, Utah. I was a reporter/photographer and an associate editor at the Salina Sun.

I have won a number of awards for my writing and photography including Best Feature Article and Best News Photo.

I have taught school in the public school system for over 20 years in Utah and in Washington state. I taught 9th grade English, Earth Science, and Health at Kent Mountainview Academy. I also substitute taught for a number of years.

I have written four children's books.

I just published the first one online entitled "Randy in My Pocket." The story is about a boy (Harry Anderson) who one day while eating breakfast finds a small purple box as a prize inside a cereal box. Inside the box is a little man - from the planet Conectivian (likely Mars)! He is here to sample earth life to see if it's a place where he could live. He finds that the best way to do that is to hide in Harry's pants pocket.

But hiding Randy (the little man) is not always easy and Randy has some unusual powers that are helpful, but also create some problems for Harry!
